The National History Museum displays the 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year' exhibition, which always houses some absolutely amazing shots. Visiting the 2007 exhibition really inspired me to get out more with my camera (the feeling didn't last long when I realised that we don't exactly have many rare and wild animals in this country.. plus it's cold!) These were a couple of my favourite snaps from the 2007 entrants:
This is a very Professor Hann worthy image, so if you hated Design Theory, ignore this entry! In this image the squares 'A' and 'B' are exactly the same shade of grey. No, really. This image annoyed me to the extent that I had to go into Photoshop and magic wand the colours. Shows just what you can do with colour and perspective.
This is a recent installation in the M&C Saatchi offices in London by the DayDream network. It's the sort of thing that no matter how many times you look at, you would always see something new, which I love. I also love how free it is, I don't think that there's many design briefs that would let you do pretty much what you want. This is only a small section - there's more which you can see on Creative Review's blog.
